About the USYF Regional Championship Series

F5 Futsal is proud to have been chosen by United States Youth Futsal to host the USYF South Atlantic Regional Championship. There are 10 USYF Regionals across the country, providing top level Futsal teams from surrounding states to compete for the title of Regional Champion and an opportunity to qualify for the USYF National Championship in February.

Selection as a host of a USYF Regional indicates that F5 Futsal qualified by having superior facilities, referees, organizational experienceand most importantly, a trusted reputation that draws top teams to their Regional.

Fees $400 per team
Deadline January 1, 2017
*local teams should be prepared to play Friday night 1/13   **Additional $9.50 per player for non-USYF registered players

The USYF Regionals are qualifiers for the National Futsal Tournament February 17-20, 2017. 

Qualifications for the 2017 USYF National Championship has changed
For guaranteed acceptance into the Nationals, teams must have earned the champion designation of an age group division of one of the USYF Regionals. Those teams have until January 21, 2017 to accept and pay the tournament fee.  After that, the tournament committee will begin selecting teams that have registered as "at large" teams.  Preference for at large teams will be:

  1. Team registered and Paid by Jan 21 that was a finalist in one of this year's Regional Championships
  2. Team registered and Paid by Jan 21 that played in one of this year's Regional Championship

The South Atlantic Regional Championship is a Stay to Play event - All out of town teams must arrange hotel booking through the USYF official Travel Company, GCI Team Travel - No Exceptions.  Staying with family or in tents, etc., does not excuse teams from the policy.  GCI Team Travel has negotiated group rates and other amenities to make your stay comfortable and cost effective with hotels close to the tournament venue site.   Access host hotels here If you have questions with the online hotel booking, please call them directly at 913 - 660 - 7766.
